Take Five: On Adamaya

140510

One. Adam is a specimen of the perfect husband and has every thing a woman could dream of. His only flaw; he only exists in dreams.

Two. Maya is young and confused. Uncertain of what she wants. Ignorant of what she needs. Oblivious of the blessings she has. Just like many of us.

Three. The epitome of a misogynist comes in the form of Dani. The only other word that suits him starts with a B and ends with a D. Go figure. Wait, don't.

Four. You'll never appreciate what you have and realize how much you need someone until they are gone. Or almost.

Five. A solid marriage is mostly made of a strong sense of responsibility. Not love per se.

"Marriage is not a noun; it's a verb. It isn't something you get. It's something you do.
It's the way you love your partner every day."
- Barbara De Angelis
